Condolences
I met Doug through my brother Daniel. Doug and Daniel worked together for many years until Doug’s retirement. I got to know Doug by joining them for breakfast/lunch and tagging along with them while they walked the aisles at Costco. Behind Doug’s gruff exterior was a kind and generous soul. He was funny and I found him to be quite a character. Doug was a dear friend to Daniel and our family. We looked forward every year to Doug’s Christmas baking and will miss that now. To Brenda and Doug’s family, I extend my deepest condolences. I hope your tears and sorrow will be replaced by smiles and happy memories of Doug. I have nothing but fond memories of Doug and am thankful for his friendship to Daniel. It was a pleasure and honor to have known him. RIP Doug.

I met Doug working for GM in Winnipeg many years ago, little did I realize that we both would end up working together at Carter Chev Olds in Calgary for many years together. He was a super guy and friend, always had a great attitude. He was a guy that always made you smile and want to be around. I’m sorry to hear of his passing.
Hi Brenda, hope you are strong and healthy in these difficult times. Lorne Kochorek
Doug was my cousin. Life circumstances brought us together a few years ago and I got to know him better. He was kind, gentle and was very giving in spirit and support. Along with my husband, I would like to extend by sincere condolences to Brenda, Lori and family, as well as Evan and his family. Take care and comfort one another in these difficult times. Sincerely, Gail Santoro
