Auntie Anne meant so much to all of us, and we will all miss her. Auntie Anne was a wonderful story-teller, and I loved her stories about when our parents were growing up. She was so interested in people, and she had such a knack for weaving her thoughts into captivating stories. Once she moved into the Aspen Lodge, it was such a privilege to hear her empathetic observations about her new friends there. Even when she was recently sick in the hospital, she had time to enjoy her 99-year-old room-mate. I talked with Auntie Anne on the phone after the death of her only brother, my Dad, and she told me so many heart-warming stories about Dad and their time as children. Auntie Anne was enormously proud of her three children and her three grandchildren – they are the light of her life. You were a great lady Auntie Anne.
