Obituary of Caroline STINSON (nee Tarasoff)

March 25, 1950 – April 29, 2020

It is with great sadness we announce Carol’s passing on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at the age of 70, due to complications related to Multiple Sclerosis. She battled courageously with this disease for twelve years, with incredible strength and resilience.

Carol was passionate about gardening, golfing, summer camping, and traveling. She enjoyed large family gatherings, and cherished her friendships dearly. Carol will always be remembered for her kind, generous, and warm heart. Her smiles and laughter will be so missed.

Carol was a beloved wife to Phil Stinson for over thirty-five years, and inspiring mother to her daughter Cayla Stinson (Scott).

Carol is also survived by her brothers, Tom (Kathleen) Tarasoff, Jim (Sheila) Tarasoff, Jerry (Leslie)Tarasoff; sister-in-law Nancy (Don) Carty; brother-in-law Kevin Robar; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Helen Tarasoff, and her sister Susan McDonald.
