Way back in Wheatley days we shared many good times with you at Teepee camp, Christmas parties and many get togethers. So very sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts as we remember Paul. Kevin and Geraldine Wilkins and family.
Jane, my heartfelt & sincere sympathy goes out to you & your family! Although I did not know Paul very well, I did have the occasion to meet & see him a handful of times. I do recall though, being impressed by his gentle & patient nature, as well as him being a very personable & likeable man ... so easy to to chat with on any topic. I know you will miss him immensely! Please know I am keeping you close in thought & in my prayers. Take good care❣️❤️
Living in Deer Run everyone got to know the Peters family through the elementary school or the many activities that they took part in. I often ran into Paul at the Co-op and as always he had a big smile and hello for everyone he knew. So to say he was a caring guy is an understatement. He had a heart of gold and such a love for his family. This is such a shock and so unexpected at his young age. There are no words to be said at a time like this but I know his family will keep his memory strong with all the wonderful times they had together. Hold him close to your heart always. Thinking of you Jane as well as Tracey, Jeff & Jamey.

I was introduced to Paul in 2015 by my fiancé, Andy Carmody, who was a coworker of Paul’s in the oil & gas industry at a golf tournament in Athabasca. It sure was a pleasure talking & laughing with Paul at golf tournaments & hockey games over the last 5 years. He truly will be missed. May you hold the memories dear to your heart. God bless.
Wendy Yakowchuk.
I coached Bow River basketball with Paul, he was a great guy and terrific family man!
Ran into him a few months ago at Coop, very sad new. Diane and I pass along our heart felt condolences
Jane and family, we were so saddened to hear of your loss. We were honoured to attend a few dinners that you hosted over the years and it was very clear to us that Paul loved his wife, his life, his kids, and grand kids. And that he was proud of his PEI roots was evident in his show of hospitality. Why he even gave us bibs and showed us the correct way to eat lobster!
I would occasionally run into Paul downtown or at a C Train station when I was working. He always had a smile to share or pleasant words no matter the weather or circumstance. This is a special quality for a person to be blessed with. And it showed a happiness in life.
From Paul's obituary - "Paul will be remembered for being the most genuine and caring man you would ever have the pleasure of meeting." No truer words have been spoken.
Please accept our sincerest condolences.

I met Paul at Wheatley Canada in 1993ish. We used to kid each other about the products that we managed. Paul and his valves me and my meters. Two different worlds. We learned a lot at Wheatley which became Dresser Oilfield Operations. We worked with a great group of people and although the meters and the valves moved on to slightly different worlds Paul and I always remained connected.
Paul was always helping others. If Paul ever came to me and asked me to help out one of his contacts I jumped on it. I knew the contact would be a good and reliable person.
His leaving us was so sudden. I can't believe he is gone. I'm going to miss you at the annual "Dresser" lunch Paul.
My condolences to Jane and the Peters' family.
Kelly Cooper and Sheila Kaiser
Our family fist met Paul Peters approximately 12 years ago when he assumed the duties of coach our daughter’s Bow River Basketball team (Jamey was also playing on this team). From the very first practice, it was obvious that Paul was a wonderful coach and a real leader of young women, helping them to develop their skills and build confidence over time. What we were fortunate to see over time was that Paul was an exceptionally caring and genuine human being, a truly special person. Our family will always respect and appreciate his amazing character and warmth. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Peters family.

I first met Paul when I began working at Dresser Oilfield Operations back in the mid 90’s. Paul took me under his wing and was such a great leader, valued friend, and mentor to me. I followed Paul to Valgro and then to Midfield Supply. We worked so many years together where I learned so much, Paul taught me so much both technically and more importantly about life. Mr. P was always so decent to Kathy and I, that he was the first person I told when I found out we were expecting our son Mitchell. We enjoyed watching each other’s kids growing up, we used to have a morning contest when we would reach in our pockets to see how little pocket change we had left after the kids had gone through it the night before. I’m so lucky to have shared many hockey and golf games together with Paul (...and certainly a few cocktails). Mr. P was such an honest and devoted family man and we are all richer for the time we shared with him. I’m sure Paul is at peace having a cold one with Gus, Brian, Terry, and The Bish.
Our deepest condolences to the entire Peter’s family, He will be sorely missed, but warmly remembered.
With love, Cliff, Kathy & Mitchell Prentice
Jane - Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Paul was a very kind, caring and helpful next-door neighbour for many years. We will miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time - May God Bless. Steve & Marj
John Geddes hired Paul when he was 18 years old just fresh in town from PEI. John realized after a couple of years at Wheatley Paul was pretty smart and moved him into inside valve sales. He had a very successful career with Wheatley and had many friends in the industry. Paul was great at organizing the hockey pool each year for employees and friends. Paul was such a positive influence on everyone and will be sadly missed.
Dear Peter's Family, I am from Fredericton, New Brunswick, a great fan of Peter's Clan, and a great friend of his dear sister Brenda. I read with pride this outstanding tribute to Paul. Whow! if only we could walk in his shoes for a day. I am now the neighbour of Brent & Marie, and it is a blessing . Blessings, and much love to all! RUTH
So sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. We enjoyed many conversations and lots of laughs with him over the years. He was a smart man who could explain things without making you feel stupid and enjoyed a good laugh. He will live forever in your hearts and memories. The Stuart Family

It was my pleasure to have known Paul. Over my long years in the oil business I have met many people,
Paul always stood out. He stood out because he was a gentlemen, not just at times, but always. Also, he was a man I could count on for an answer when I needed one. I will think of him often.

So very sorry to hear that this wonderful man has passed! Paul was such a loving and kind man! He will be missed by all who knew him! Jane, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers!
My favorite moment was watching Paul give his speech at Tracey and Rod's wedding. It was a moment that will stay with me for the rest of my life. He was such a loving father, his emotions and love made that speech such a touching moment. Sending you love and healing passage on your journey Paul ♥
I had the honor of working with Paul during our time at MRC. Paul’s kindness and acceptance of me was much appreciated. Over time we became good friends.
I am so sorry to hear of our loss of this fine man far to early in his life. Please accept my condolences.

My sincere condolences to the Peters family. You have my deepest sympathy. I had the privilege of knowing Paul through business for many years. I have rarely met anyone in my life that I respected as much as I did Paul. He was very special and will be missed by so many.
Respectfully,

Our sincere condolences to Jane and her family. Sending you our love and strength at this sad time.

I had the distinct privilege of working with Paul for many years. He was a mentor and the type of Boss that many of us aspired to be like. He had a heart for people and it was evident working with Paul that he cared deeply for his staff and people in general. He was a steadying influence at work and was always there with a hand on the rudder to keep things in perspective. For me he became a close friend who would take the time on an early Saturday morning and go out golfing with me. We would spend the time laughing, teasing each other about our choice of sports teams (he Calgary, me Edmonton). It was clear to me how much he adored his family and talked about the times with his grandchildren with a smile in his eyes.
To Jane and the entire Peters Family, my deepest condolences, he was respected by everyone who knew him and loved by many who worked with him.
I'm gonna miss you my friend, this world just got a little sadder because you are no longer here.
We were deeply saddened to hear of Paul's passing. It was only the day prior that we had a chat with Paul and I remember walking away and saying to Brian what a nice man he is. Over the 10 years that we were neighbours I enjoyed our early morning chats while walking the dogs or shovelling the never ending snow. Fly high Paul, you will be missed.
Brian, Norah and Max McCann
Paul set the standard to which we all can only aspire to. I am proud to call him a friend and the Argent family will miss him dearly. His legacy is how he treated others and carried himself with honesty and integrity. I am so appreciative that we crossed paths. You can be rest assured that Paul’s family and friends will have so many good memories to carry them through the days to come.
The Argent family.
