Dear Marlene and family,
I am so sad to hear about Paul's sudden passing. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
We have known Paul and you, Marlene, for so many years. We shared years as students at Crescent Heights and in the early years of the University of Calgary. We were always involved with athletics. Then later, we shared as colleagues on the staff at our "old" high school, Crescent Heights. Our families spent many summers on the Shuswap although our cabins are many miles apart. We would meet in the parking lot of The Marina in Sicamous occasionally. The neighbours on Seymour Arm will surely miss Paul this summer and after.
We have so many decades of connections which make his death especially sad for me.
I know that you will find comfort in many beautiful memories of times with family and friends--your many years as loving partners.. I hope that you will also find comfort and be assured of God's Easter Promise of Life Everlasting.
Love and blessings to all of you, Fran Van Sant Cormack
Dear Marlene and Family.
I was surpized and saddened to hear of Paul's sudden passing by John Powell. My sympathy and thoughts and prayers go to you and your family. I remember the Glory days at Viscount Bennett High School with the power of the "Mens' Phys. Ed. Office". We had fun and worked long and hard. Basketball was king. I look forward to getting together when possible. (Perhaps there will be some petite Marlene tarts.) Take time to remember and press forward. My heartfelt condolences - Wendy Pitcher
I recall working with Paul at Lord Beaverbrook High School. He always had his students at heart. My sincere sympathy.

Jane and I would like to share our heartfelt sympathies to Marlene, Amanda, Lisa, Tanya and families, on the passing of Paul. We chatted about babysitting for both your family, as well as the Windsors. It seems like yesterday however I know many years have passed. Hold tight to the cherished memories of Paul - all so very precious.
In memory of Paul we have donated to the Calgary Firefighters Charitable Foundation

Mr. Humphrys was my gym teacher for 3 years at Viscount Bennett High School in Calgary. I remember him as a great teacher with a good sense of humor. He was a mentor to me in my life and good example of how to treat people,
Thank you Mr. Humphrys.
My condolences to the family,
Paul Ebbs
We knew Paul as such a very nice and friendly person. As two of the owners in the apartment building where Paul was President of our Condo board, he was so committed to ensuring our building was the best it could be. He never hesitated to help when he could nor hesitate to ensure that any issues would be handled. This is often a thankless task but to us, Paul handled it so well. We will sorely miss him. Our heartfelt condolences to Marlene and family.
