Obituary of Steve MYCHASIUK

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steve Mychasiuk on Friday, May 29, 2020.
Steve faced his cancer with great strength and grace, and is now finally at peace following his difficult journey.
Steve was born on July 4, 1951 in Lethbridge, AB, and moved to Calgary in his twenties. He had a very successful career as a Surface Landman in the oil and gas industry, and then started his own company, i Land Data, a software developing company for surface land. He retired in 2013.
He had a very creative mind and an extremely high energy level! He loved music, playing guitar, photography, and computers, but his greatest passion was golf. He excelled at golf, loved being a mentor to all, and enjoyed celebrating in everyone’s successes.
If you had the privilege of knowing Steve, you know he was generous to a fault, devoted and a true gentleman.
Steve will be sadly missed by his loving wife and soul mate, Brenda (nee Edwards); sons, Jason (Tiffany), and Mark (Rhiannon); nieces, Richelle (Aaron), and Nicole; mother-in-law Margaret Edwards; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandy and Rick McDonald; niece Jaime; nephew Christopher; sister-in-law, Janet Jurcevic; and close, long-time friends, Dan and Tammy Stevens.
He was predeceased by his father, Wasyl; mother, Wasylyna; brothers, Jerry and Mitch; sister Maria; and father-in-law, Clarence Edwards.
