Condolences
I met your Mom through Margie Sharrock in Blind Bay. We were fortunate to have Sunday Breakfasts with her when she was able to . I so enjoyed spending time with her and was saddened to hear that she had passed away. My Mother who was 92 passed away May 2 in Red Deer. All three of these incredible women have passed away in the last 2 years. Your Mom will be missed!
Deepest sympathy to Bev, Linda and Roger, Bill and Jane, Doug and Anne, Scott and Cecilia, Katie, Erin and Dave, Rebecca and Tom, Thomas and Alex, Alana, Samantha, Clayton, Allison, Mark and Christel, Wiley and Andrew on the passing of dear Marian.
She was a special lady; a very capable, caring, wonderfully warm and fun-loving Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma and friend. A great life truly well lived. She will be sadly missed.
Arriving in Calgary in 1983 to work and live at Fortress for the ski season it wasn’t long before Linda introduced me to her parents and family. Being so warmly welcomed into their home and to family gatherings, by the end of the season I had adopted Marian (and Bill) as my Canadian Mom (and Dad). I have such fond memories over the years of many visits and fun times with Marian, (her family and friends) in Calgary and Blind Bay, as well as her visit here to Melbourne.
Memories are enduring and I hope yours through the years you’ve been blessed to have Marian in your lives console you at this sad time and comfort you in the future.
My condolences and a heartfelt hug from afar to you all.
Love Helen
To the family of Marian Hay. Sept. 2008 - August 2014 I , Wilma Clark worked at St. Andrew's United Church in Seniors Ministry. Marian was seldom around but when she was we had wonderful phone visits. I'm sorry for your loss, she was such a vibrant lady despite her health issues.
I just saw this obit as I was searching for someone else's. I no longer belong to St. Andrew's but remember those I served, and am saddened when one passes. May God be with you all, may your memories be with your always of Marian.

So saddened to see that your Mom has passed away. I ran into her at Britannia Shopping centre a couple of years ago. I hadn't seen her for many years, but she was unmistakable. So pleasant and upbeat and energetic, just as I remember her from when I was a child. May happy memories of your dear Mom help sustain you in this difficult time.

Our thoughts are with you and your family during this very difficult time. Marion was a dear friend to my Mother Shirley, and we heard so many stories about her over the years - her warmth and welcoming spirit lives on in her children, and we know how very much she will be missed.

I played bridge with Marian at Canyon Meadows Ladies Bridge Club and always found her to be a lovely gentle lady. She didn't play this year and I missed seeing her. I'm sending my deepest condolences.

I’ve frequently told people that Marian is my poster child for living age well. She had such a great attitude, interested in everything, up fir a wine and champagne tasting, attending theatre, watching Grey Cup and Super Bowl with our gang, an adventurous travel, golfer, welcoming and loving to family and friends. I never thought if her as an old person, as she talked and lived as anyone who just loves life. She will be missed and I’m so grateful for having know her. Big hugs to you all Linda, BEV, Bill, Doug, scott, Allison and Mark. Di & Bri
