Memories of the happy friendship our mothers shared come flooding back as I reflect on the news of her passing. I am so sorry for your loss! The longevity of her life is a testament to her indefatigable spirit. What a little firecracker she was! So glad I got to see her on my visit to Calgary a few years ago. Rest In Peace ❤️

I met Gertrude 20 years ago in Calgary and found out we were both from Montreal and knew some of the same people. We continued our friendship and I enjoyed listening to her many interesting stories. I am so sorry to hear of Gertrude’s passing and will always remember her vibrant personality and our many visits. My condolences to the Spittachine family.
