I have many great memories of Aunt Jean, as an Ursuline Nun, then after she left the order and moved to Calgary. My husband Aime and I helped her settle in her new life. We had many shared family events after she married Joe Burrell. Joe & Aime became very good friends. We travelled together, bought a Time Share together, golfed, rode bikes,fishing, played cards, so many good times were had until Uncle Joe’s sudden passing, then my husband followed a few months later. After that, Aunt Jean and I spent a lot of time together, family functions, shopping, church services and travelled together. As my mother’s youngest sister we were very close over the years. It was sad to see her needing help the last few years of her life, but also consoling to see she had such good care. I am proud and grateful of my brother Michael & his wife Rosalyn making sure Auntie received the care she needed after I moved away. Auntie had a good heart, brought happiness / kindness to many when part of Pastoral Care. Aunt Jean was blessed to enjoy many full, varied chapters in her life. May she now R.I.P.
