Obituary of Maureen Joyce ALFRED

July 24, 1933 – Grays Essex, England March 14, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta Maureen Alfred, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Maureen was born in Grays Essex, England to Thomas and Edith Baker. She married Norman Alfred on January 3, 1953. She immigrated to Calgary, Canada in 1994 to be with her daughter, brothers and sister. Maureen loved her new home with a passion, and also spending time with her family and walking her beloved dogs. Maureen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Roger; four grandchildren, Beverley, Ryan, Shelley and Jason; and her brother Keith. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Edith; her sister Edie and her brother Don.
