Condolences
The world has lost a joyful and loving spirit.
I’m certain that Roger lived his life to the fullest and left a positive feeling with everyone he met. I have nothing but the warmest and fondest feelings from the memories of my times shared with Roger.
My sorrow joins yours in marking the passage of our friend; Roger
Sometimes words just aren’t enough. But nevertheless, I know Roger will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. To his children and family, my heart grieves for you. He went too soon.
Our sympathy in this time of sorrow and loss, may Roger rest in peace.
So many good times spent ….so lucky our paths crossed on the acreages we built in
Okotoks ….and garage doors delivered to the wrong homes….years of dinners together…bon fires….fireworks gone out of control….fishing …horse fence building…house building….birthday parties for us and our children and the list goes on and on……our heart felt sympathy to all family ….thinking of you all with our love….Norm…Sharron…Shawna ….and Evan
It is with sadness I pass my condolences to the family. Wish it would be possible to be there at this time. Roger will be remembered and my prayers are with you all.
My deepest sympathy.
it was with sadness that i learned of Rogers’ passing.I fondly remember working with Roger at the hardware store as a young person. We often visited and shared meals and outings with Auntie Yvette,Uncle Bernard, Lorraine, Mark, Phillip and Giselle.
My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to Roger’s wife, family , Auntie Yvette and family. Roger was a special person and will be greatly missed.
I grew up in Kingsland and attended school with Roger from Grades 1 – 12 at St. Augustines through to Bishop Grandin. Many years after school I was always so happy to see Roger at the Shawnessy Coop and have a quick chat. Was so shocked and saddened to see of his passing this morning. Please accept my condolences! Roger was such a great man who always put a smile on my face when I saw him.
Our thoughts & prayers to Roger’s family and friends.
It was so incredibly sad to hear that this wonderful man was not able to enjoy his retirement.
He was always willing to help anyone who needed his assistance with either a question or help with a project.
He had a wonderful laugh along with a great sense of humour.
He will be missed!
To Lorraine and family, so sorry to hear of your loss of your brother. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. Its been along time since we worked together but I knew as soon as I saw the last name it was your brother. Our Condolences

Andre, my deepest condolences to you and your family. My father also worked at a coop (in Regina) for over 30 years, and he remembers how successful the Calgary Coop has been over these many years. To dedicate one’s life to hard work and to miss the peace of retirement is unfortunate. My heartfelt sympathies.
We were so sad to learn of the passing of our dear friend and cousin, Roger. When we arrived to Okotoks as a young family in 2003, he generously guided us in the construction of our garage, basement, fence and deck. His friendship, sense of humour and generosity forever marked our hearts. We will miss him so much! Our sincerest condolences his family and friends. We will be unable to attend the service as we are in France. However we are keeping him in our prayers.
C’est avec grande tristesse que j’apprends de cette nouvelle.
Roger was always a good, hard-working and loving man- characteristics he learned well at home and did not keep to himself. We will continue, but with one less good example to show us the way.
Au revoir Roger!
Roger was a second dad or ‘Papa’ to me. For over 20 years he helped raise me alongside his own daughter; whether it was belly bounces in the kitchen to make us laugh, a stern talking to when Joelle and I were constantly up to no good or his funny stashes of things like Lipton’s Sidekicks in his cupboard, which when questioned he would give us a lesson about the value a dollar and of course, good shopping. We always giggled because of how cute these quirks were and I always loved those things about him. He was a tremendous father, gave his kids everything he possibly could and loved them beyond words. I loved him too and this loss will sit close to my heart forever. I am so sorry for his family especially his two wonderuful kids and everyone who had the luxury of getting to know him. He will be so missed. I’m so sorry.
Greg and I are very sorry to hear of Roger’s sudden passing and send condolences to his family. He was a man of character and strength who will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace Roger.
My deepest condolences to Roger’s family. I’m very sad to have heard of his passing. I had the pleasure of working with him long ago at Co-op for many years and I will always remember his smile, incredible sense of humour, and his absolute kindness.
