Obituary of Gordon Edward WALKER

February 12, 1952 – Drumheller, Alberta

June 24, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Gord beloved husband of Judy Maurine Walker (nee Rasmussen) of Calgary, AB, passed away on June 24, 2020 at the age of 68 years.

Gord’s greatest joy was his family and his home. He was happiest when he had his family around the dinner table and when he and Judy were entertaining friends in their home.

Gord worked for 47 years in the transportation industry, ending his career with Western Canada Express in March of this year. He was a well-respected manager and mentor to all who worked with him.

Gordon leaves to mourn him his wife of 46 years, Judy, son Jeffrey (Michelle), son Christopher (Britt), and daughter Maren (Chris). He was the beloved Papa to Kara, Andrew, Grace and Oliver. He is survived by four brothers, Allan, David, Donald, Dennis and one beloved sister, Mary Lynn; as well as their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a much-loved brother-in-law to Judy’s siblings, Sarah-Beth Rasmussen, Bruce Rasmussen and Janet Reimer (Bernard).
