Condolences
Deepest Condolences from the Wallace Family (Edmonton).
We have framed version of the black and white photographs you used. My Dad and Arthur were cousins. My brother was a patient of Dr. Hanslip when he was in Calgary.
Dear Michael and Lisa,
Sincere sympathy on Arthur's passing. I have fond memories of family visits to the Hanslip home in Victoria. Before moving to Victoria, Gavin and Arthur visited our farm in Red Deer one summer. I know how proud his parents were of his medical achievements. Arthur will be missed.
Phyllis Cruickshank Johnson
My dad James was a brother of Mary Rennie.
The world has lost a beautiful soul. I worked with Dr.Hanslip at RGH , in the operating rooms. His sincere kindness, big smile and invaluable support ,he willingly offered to the entire team, will never be forgotten. Deepest sympathy to you, his cherished family.

Dear Michael and Lisa,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of your father. We used to live right next door to them on Clarke Road, from the time they moved in until we moved away in the early 70's. I have such happy and fond memories of both of your parents, including when they visited my mom and dad out at the Shuswap (Gordon and Marion Drackett).
I am so very sorry for your loss.
Susan (Drackett) Tumback
I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to Art's children Lisa and Michael. Art assisted me in surgery at the Rockyview General Hospital for many years. His experience and help were greatly appreciated. He had a keen interest in all things medical. Over the years I came to learn that this pursuit of knowledge extended to a huge variety of topics. Perhaps passed on to his children. We talked about our children frequently and I know that he was immensely proud of Michael and Lisa. Other popular topics included his summer job working for BC fisheries, hypnotism as a therapy, travel everywhere, travel around the US in a Porsche 911, ( the end of this conversation invariably ended with his comment that " after Porsche, there is no other"),wedding planning, cycling, journalism , archeology , Sebastian, and education.
I learned a lot from Art. I have missed him.
