I am truly sorry to hear of Horst's passing. He was a kind, loving man who never ceased to show his love of life, family, and Jesus. He will be missed by many.

My memories of Horst are of a generous, kind, and remarkable man.

I will always remember his great sense of humour, and that deep laugh that could change the mood of room instantly.

Perhaps what I remember most was his infectious smile, and kind words. A true gentleman.

Dear Horst, I have such warm memories of you and your family visiting us. Also when I was a really small girl and didn't feel good about myself. I remember you telling me how I was wrong and how beautifull I was. And at one time you took me to an art store to look at paintings and invited me to choose one. Thank you for these important memories in my childhood. Lots of love to your family and your always in these special memories.
