Condolences
I met Loretta in 1966 when I moved to Calgary and sat across from her in class , I have had a lot of laughs and conversations with Loretta a will dearly miss her laugh and chats and dinner dates RIP my dear friend
Loretta was one of my very loved friends who stood beside me during my divorce and shared her world with me in Toronto so that I could heal. She had a knack for understanding the spirit world as it intersected with the physical and a humor to match. I dearly loved her acerbic comments and funny perceptions, her loyalty to honor and truth, and her willingness to learn, explore and find out new things. She so loved her son, Roshaud, and worked so hard to ensure he would have a good life, and took extraordinary care of everyone she loved. She took care of her friends, and I will miss her much. My sons and I send many blessings on your journey into the next world, Loretta.
Loretta was the most vibrant and beautiful soul and we miss her so much. We were all blessed to have spent our schooling together and beyond.
Sister, that’s what we called each other. I will miss her, but she will always be in my heart. We would talk on the phone and speak about our trip to Chicago, and how cold it was there, she had a giggle that would make you laugh out loud, I loved her. Praying for Roshaud and family.
Aunt Loretta, you were truly one of a kind. I remember always trying to mimic your lovey accent. I remember when I wasn’t doing well and you begged me and the kids to come to Washington with you. I always regret not going. Thank you for the many talks we had the last time you were in Oklahoma I will cherish them forever! To Roshaud, you are in my prayers and I love you dearly.
With great sadness and heavy hearts we have to say good-bye to my wonderful friend and Auntie to my boys. Loretta and I have been best friends for 62 yrs sharing so many great times-always together! Her quirkie little sayings would always bring a giggle and a smile.
Roshaud, you were your moms world and she loved you very much. Hoping you can find some strength during this time! Here for you.
The last few months were so hard to hear when Sandra kept me updated on your journey that was coming, but know we were with you in spirit. Rest now and we will meet again someday. Luv you dear friend
Loretta was a very wise and wonderful cousin. There is a big piece missing from our family,
Loretta would come to Grands and we would have Chinese food together. Miss talking with her.
Love from RD and family.
I recall a time just prior to Loretta moving from home, where Loretta was making spaghetti for Dennette and my lunch. Mom had given Loretta money to take Dennette & I to the movie "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". Though Anita tried instructing Loretta, it ended up being the worse meal of my childhood. Twas a good thing Loretta was pretty since her cooking skills were lacking.
Sending prayers to Loretta’s son Roshaud and her entire family. I hope you find comfort in the memories during the difficult time. Call if you need anything. -Andrew Workman
Our times together were not enough because of geography, but Loretta was so loved and will be dearly missed. Love Brenda, Christian and family
I have known Loretta for 35 years and we always had a very close relationship. I am so upset over her passing as she was a dear friend. I know she will be looking down on all of us that knew her and loved her. My sincere condolences to her son and her family.
