Loretta Mae Thompson-Woody, beloved wife of the late Cecil Woody, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday July 6, 2020 at the age of 67 years.

Loretta had a passion for always learning, and enjoyed talking your ear off when trying to convince someone she was right.

Loretta is survived by her loving son Roshaud Omar Woody of Bellingham, Washington. Loretta is also survived by her mother Rosetta Thompson, three sisters, Sandra (Lauriston) Bailey, Dennette (Dwain) Sokvitne, Anita Jaremco; and one brother Kenneth Thompson. Loretta will also be missed dearly by her nephew, Rodney (Katharine (Miss K)), and great-nephew, Quintyn Bailey; nephew Nathan Singh; niece Gillian (DJ) Ranger, and great-niece Renee Ranger.

Loretta was raised within a large loving extended community of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends too numerous to mention but know who they are.
