Obituary of Margaret TOTH (nee Andrekovics)

Margaret Toth of Calgary, AB passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the age of 95 years.

Margaret was born in Turkeve, Hungary on December 11, 1924. After growing up on a farm, Margaret married George in 1945 and moved to Budapest. She immigrated to Canada in 1957 with George and their sons George and Les.

Margaret and George were active members of the Hungarian Community Association for many years.

Margaret is survived by her son Les Toth and daughter-in-law Anne Toth, two grandchildren, Steven (Andrea) Toth and Ryan Toth; and two great-grandchildren, Owen and Marcus Toth. Margaret was predeceased by her husband George, her son George, her parents and her siblings George, Martin and Helen.

Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery on Thursday, August 6, 2020. Please arrive at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North Calgary, AB) by 10:30 a.m., and remain in your vehicles until the processional leaves for the cemetery.
