Condolences
Rosemary our thought and prayers are with you and your family at this time. When you think of Richard I am sure you will have many happy memories. May God Bless you, giving you strength and peace.
Rosemary, we extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Richard will be greatly missed at our coffee gatherings after Sunday and funeral Masses. He was a very interesting person to listen to and we enjoyed his dry humor. May he rest in peace.
I only have fond memories of you my Uncle. The many family gatherings we shared at Roche Court in Missisauga with Nonno & Nonna still occupy a vivid place in my mind. I still remember you carefully preparing pears & cheese for our deserts, writing profusely with your pen on paper napkins. And even tossing and catching dinner plates with Uncle Claudio as you took it upon yourself to clean up from our repast. Your wit and steadfastness are a testament to the place you occupy in the league of extraordinary gentlemen that have come and gone in the ever-changing world. You found a way to persevere and thrive despite your epilepsy and fathered to amazing daughters, Marina and Elyssa that stand as a living testament to the very full life that you have with your beloved spouse Auntie, Rosemary.Your catholic faith and activism with the Knights of Columbus will surely bring you a place close to God in the hereafter as I am warranted to say in all certainty. Congratulations to you for leading a upstanding and successful life despite the aftermath of war, disability, and even successive brain surgeries. No matter the unfortunate cards to which you were dealt, you found a way to accomodate yourself to the unfairness of life to which we humans have been subjected to since time immemorial. I wish you God speed my cherished Uncle as you embark upon journey along the astral plane.
