In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth
Victoria knew the Lewis family 2004, we gradually developed a strong relationship as my parents. Uncle Ayo was loving, kind-hearted, compassionate and gracious to me from the time I knew him. My husband whom Uncle Ayo knew not he will ask about him every time we talk or see, sure you are missed.
May your soul find rest in God. I thank God I met and had a relationship with you.
You fought the good fight, you finished the race and have kept the faith. You have gone but not forgotten. We will deeply miss you.
Rest in Peace and Power
Victoria and Aaron Godwin
Dear Miriam, Marcelle, Arnie and your families,
We are sorry to hear that Horatio passed away. We send our deepest sympathies to you all at this sad time.
Your old neighbours and friends,
Diane and David Crossley
What is a father-in-law? How do you express what he might mean to you? For me, this man gave me permission to take care of one of his greatest gifts. His daughter. He trusted in me to take care of her, and our children that followed. To be a rock in hard times, and have a soft hand when needed.
I didn’t know dad before he was sick, but I do know I can never thank him enough for the love and respect he always showed me. I promise to continue looking after your baby girl, and I hope you will be proud to say I was your son.
Love you Dad,
Uncle Ayo as I fondly called him. We will miss you. My boys Calvin and Clifton will miss you. I will miss you calling me Lauretta because that is the name you like. May you find rest in father Abraham's bossom and may all the angels welcome you into heaven . Rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon your gentle soul till we meet again. Daphne Gabbidon and the boys
The Adu-Darko family got to know Ayo and family when we arrived in Calgary in 1989. Instantly, we bonded and became particularly good family friends and later became next door neighbours for several years.
Ayo, as we all affectionately called him, was exceedingly kind in nature, generous, loving and patient and to top it all, very great sense of humour.
We will all surely miss Ayo especially during all those occasions when we all meet as one big family. Ayo loved Christmas and he was more than a Santa to most of us.
We are all very saddened by your passing and you will remain in our thoughts always.
Rest in Perfect Peace, our dear Brother, until we meet again.
Dilys, Ferdinand, Alexander and Devin.
