Obituary of David Malcolm STUART

February 8, 1947 – August 13, 2020

Lo siento, The Tax Man With Personality, está muerto.

After 7 years the big C finally got me.

Thanks to the MAID Programme for allowing me to finish my life on my terms.

Peace and love to my wife Kathy, as an everlasting companion and caretaker over the years. She was always there in my times of need and even when I didn’t, she was there for me anyway, well most of the time!

My son and daughter, Matthew and Rebecca, always loved unconditionally. You made me so proud as you grew to responsible adults. What fun the two of you were to have in my life.

My grandchildren, Harper, Lochlan, and Hannah, you are all so beautiful. It has been so inspiring to watch you grow. I am glad you were a part of my life; our time together was too short.

Leah (Matthew) and Antonio (Rebecca), it was such a pleasure getting to know you.  I know my children and grandchildren are in good hands. Thanks for keeping them up to snuff.

My brothers, Peter, Michael, and Ian (predeceased), growing up in a family of 4 boys was a whole other kettle of fish. Our poor, poor mother! I learned so much about life from each of you. Thank you.

A special thank you to Dr. Dean Ruether, Oncologist at Tom Baker Cancer Centre, and his team members for their wonderful care over the last 6 years.

Finally, there happens to be a nice set of left handed golf clubs, and for all you lovers of skiing, a virtually new pair of size 10 ski boots for sale.  Contact Kathy for details. (Please don’t)

I would request, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter.

A private celebration of David’s life will occur at a later date.

Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on David’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
