Condolences
I loved Eileen's passion for gardening. I benefitted multiple years from her tomatoes grown in her basement.
Eileen was always so supportive of me, and was such a light in this world, she had such an impact on so many people and is so deeply missed.
I met Eileen when we moved to Midanpore in 2014 and were in the same ward. I always enjoyed her comments in Sunday School and teacher council and how that would promote discussion in the class. We often discussed gardening as I learned how to get things to grow. Her faith and testimony of the gospel is inspiring. Our condolences to her family. She will be missed.
I am sorry to hear of Eileen’s passing. We were in the same ward and I had the opportunity to get to know her as I was her visiting teacher. She was always so kind and willing to share her knowledge of many things. She will be missed!
I first met Eileen when she visited her sister Jennifer in Medicine Hat. At the time I was teaching in Sunday School. She always made great comments in class. Later I moved to Calgary and discovered she was in my new ward. I felt like I had an instant friend. I also had the opportunity to serve as her visiting teacher for a while. I really loved Eileen. I especially enjoyed all of our gospel conversations. Her wisdom and insights blessed my life and nourished my testimony. I shall miss her.
I met Eileen when we were called to serve in the Stake Relief Society presidency. We became friends and enjoyed many good times together. I appreciated her example of service and kindness. She will be missed. With sympathy to all her family.
Heber and Ann and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Bill (Mitchell) and I were Eileen's Home Teachers and Ministers and we were always welcome to visit her and help her out, especially with some of the electronic gadgets she needed help with. Bill is very good at that. Bill went so far as offering his service to climb up on her roof and clean out some of those nasty eave troughs! Lucky for him she got some kids in the neighborhood to do that !
We always left her home blessed and uplifted in spirit and wish her all the happiness in her new home above.
Harold Barkowski
