We were one that became two, me apart of you and you a part of me.

When you died, a part of you died with me. As time goes on, I realize that part of you lived on, in me. How lucky am I that I get to be the one who keeps you alive.

I still think of you everyday and I'm still gutted by the loss of you.

I miss you more than any words could say.

I had the pleasure of working with Candace for nearly 20 years. She was my friend and highly respected. She carried herself with integrity in everything she did. She was a beautiful soul and will be missed dearly by anyone who crossed her path. My condolences to her family.

I have fond memories of my childhood spent on the farm with Candace and family. My deepest sympathies to all of you

Candace i only knew you through your sister Kim. But i have had the pleasure of spending our 30th birthdays in Vegas and then our 40th in Bahamas with Kimberly and some of your friends. You also welcomed me into your home during my first visit to Calgary. I will Always Cherish those Moments! You are Greatly Missed and Greatly Loved by your Family and Friends. My prayers and love are with you all in this time of heavy hearts!! Candace, along with her family had stolen my heart when we all meet at Primose Lane apartments as young as 9 and 10 years old!! Throughout all those years she became my best of buddies :)

We then found ourselves all grown up and raising our own families, instead of raising each other lol we slowly drifted apart by moving to different provinces!! But, always seemed to find our selves checking in with one and another. Feeling as though we never left each others sides!!! In my eyes, Candace was a brave your child and became even braver as a strong courageous woman! I will miss her deeply and never forget the beautiful memories that she has left us all behind. Thank you Candace for being a part of our life as short-lived as it was. Love you always " There are big ships and little ships but, no ships like friendships! "

We shared a thousands moments, and millions of laughs that collectively developed our friendship. Whenever we met it was as though a day had never passed. Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend... Candace was all of these and so much more. She touched so many people throughout her life that she may never know had the opportunity to grow and be more because of her influence, her strength, her compassion and love. I had the honour of seeing first hand how amazing and supportive Candace was... she could see and recognize the downtrodden and find the words to uplift even the most trampled spirit.
