When John joined our family, he and his family were like an extended addition to our's .It is with great sadness to hear of Lorraine's passing. Her laugh and sense of humour will be deeply missed. Our camping trips will never be the same!! Rest in peace Lorraine
It is a huge loss to lose my Auntie Lorraine, I so admired her she was such a beautiful person such with such a kind loving gentle nature but such amazing strength. She and I had an amazing connection, I took great pride in the fact she said I was a lot like her. I have so many fond memories as a child and I loved listening to her talk about the family history she had such a beautiful voice and what a storyteller! Her laugh was so much like my Mom's too it did me so much good to hear it!! One of my fondest memories is when Auntie Lorraine and Uncle Danny came to visit Mom when she was ill, the sound of laughter radiated the house all day, and listening to the stories just warmed my heart so much. Whenever I see a dime or feather I will know she is there. I will be planting a rose bush in her honour.
She will live in our heart forever

To John, Diane, Madeleine, Heather and Melissa. Please accept our condolences on the loss of your Mom. Let memories fill your minds and warm your hearts. We hope this time of sadness passes gently and that heartfelt memories remain as precious keepsakes always in your hearts. John and Diane, we will remember your Mom as a very kind and loving lady who always has a smile for all us kids growing up in the neighbor hood.
John, Madeleine, Heather and Melissa - my condolences to you and your families on your loss. John, your Mom was a lovely lady and I always enjoyed visiting with her when Roger and I had the chance. I loved all her positive postings on Facebook - they would always brighten the day. There will be an empty chair at family gathering but fill it with fun memories of her love of fashion, fun times and family. Love and hugs, Lynne
We all loved visiting Auntie Lorraine & Uncle Dan... It was never dull. And, you were never more welcomed! Auntie Lorraine was always so calm & gracious. She had a keen sense of humour & loved to laugh. I have nothing but sweet memories of her!
I will always think of her, fondly.

I went over for tea at Lorraine’s house a couple years ago to visit and hear some family stories (she was my grandmothers cousin). I had never met her before but she welcomed me in and I immediately felt like family.
She reminded me greatly of my grandmother and we had such a wonderful afternoon enjoying tea and homemade treats she had prepared for us. She spoke so lovingly about her children and their families, she was very proud of each of them!
We got to talking about family that had passed away, and how they magically ‘visit’ - she would find dimes in odd places around her house or her travels, from her husband... I find playing cards (specifically 5s), from my grandfather. After our visit I got into my car, I found a dime sitting on the passenger seat! I called her immediately and she just laughed and said her husband was checking up on her.
I very much wish I could have known her longer, she was a wonderful lady.
