I worked with Sue in the 90’s at TELUS & am sad to hear of her illness & passing. Sue was smart, hard-working & a pleasure to work with—positive attitudes are sometimes hard to find but she kept hers well-polished. My sincere condolences to Sue’s family for losing her so soon.
So very sad to hear of Sue’s passing. I have special memories of running the dance studio with Sue. Being up to our eyeballs in cleaning and sewing were bitter-sweet times—with many laughs along the way. Thinking of you all—Larry, Erin and Kat—at this very difficult time. My heart is heavy for you.
Larry and family, we are so very sorry to hear of Sue’s passing! She was so kind, witty and a joy to have visiting the ATA Local 38 office! Our deepest condolences to you and your family.

When Sue entered a room it always brightened. She was one of the most sincere and kind people I have ever met. My memories are mostly at the cottage in Jackson’s Point. Sitting down for cheese o’clock with Sue and Larry was always a special time of day and Sue’s laugh was all the music we needed. Gone too soon. The world lost a good one. Rest In Peace.
Larry, our heart felt condolences to you and your family during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Larry. You should have had many more years with her. What I remember most about Sue is her unreserved welcome of me into your home.
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Susan. She was a lovely woman. I remember a few of the gatherings of the ABE/NSS staff and loved chatting with you, Larry, and with Susan. May your memories bring laughter, for the love will never die.

Sue was born a week before I was. We would spend the next ten to fifteen summers playing together and learning to swim at the cottages in Jackson’s Point, Sue at Mrs Henderson’s and me at my grandmother’s two doors away. She never knew it but I had a childhood crush on her that was the reason I learned
to swim. She could swim and I had to learn just to keep up. Years later after going, each of us our own ways, Sue remained special to me and I thought of her as I would of a sister. One who loved to laugh. She laughed as though she had a deeper understanding and was letting you know it. I always felt a comfortable bond of kinship with Sue even though we crossed paths infrequently. It was always at the cottage that we shared laughs. My sisters and I will plant a tree for her there and remember her always with fondness.
Carry on bravely,
Daryl Urquhart
