My heartfelt condolences to Lindsay and family. Although I only met Mike once, it was clear he was a doting father. Mike graduated Henry Wise Wood High 2 years after me and he was also part of the Stampede Family. I had the sincere pleasure of getting to know Lindsay as one of her Calgary Stampede Advisors and saw her huge heart in action every time we met. She was a shining star at every event while dealing with so many family trials. It is my hope that Lindsay carries on in all her endeavors with her Mom's and her Dad's spirits to guide her. Lindsay has a heart of gold and a spirit to match. God Bless the family in this difficult time.

Mike and I articled together at Bennett Jones from 1980 - 1981. I was newly arrived in Calgary from Toronto and Mike was welcoming and cheerful. It was a very interesting time to join the legal profession: it proved to be the end of the boom and the start of the bust, but we made it through. My deep sympathies to his family and friends at this sad time.

I have so many memories of your smiling dad, Lindsay...shuttling you to-and-from lessons and competitions, helping you with hair and makeup with a smile on his face, and always his wonderful laugh. I’m very sorry. This is a heavy loss for you and all who loved Mike.
