Condolences
Sincere condolences to Diane and all of Ron's family. I have such wonderful memories of 'Squeak' from the many Calgary Stampeder games I had the privilege of attending as an impressionable young boy. In those days I would be glued to the radio during the broadcasts of Stampeder games and would be on the edge of my seat whenever Ron was involved in the play. Ron was a fan favourite and played with the same passion that he displayed his entire life. It is unbelievable that during my broadcasting career I re-acquainted myself with Ron at the Saddledome and he was never so busy that he would not stop and share a story or two. Ron had the ability and skill to elevate himself to the highest level of the sport he loved. We admired him as an athlete but he also had the personality that made others feel welcomed in his presence. I do apologize for not extending my condolences earlier but for some reason I was just informed of this sad news today. Thanks for the Memories Ron.....Your influence will live on.

As a kid, I was a real fan of "Squeak" when he played hockey with the Stampeders of the WHL. Later I had the pleasure of meeting him and enjoying his friendship when he put his ice-making skills into another career at the Saddledome. RIP my friend.

He was a lovely gentleman; may he rest in peace. I hope he and Pepper are taking long and leisurely walks together. Deepest sympathies from Patti, Norm and Cam.
I remember what a great friend Ronny was and how he helped me go to my doctor when I was ill.
He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humour and a great cook although he was strictly meat and potatoes himself.
I loved him dearly and am missing him all ready.
Di my favourite nurse and caregiver. I am so sorry for your loss.
All my love.
Mike de Scossa.
