My sincere condolences to Art’s family. I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of Christmas’ ago when my daughter and I delivered some home made Christmas goodies to him. We were going to make it a tradition. He had a great sense of humour and was genuinely interested in our lives too. I often saw him walking the Somerset circuit which he said was vital to his well being. He had a beautiful smile and spirit that will not be forgotten. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

Art was the most generous and thoughtful person. Having him as a neighbor made us feel safe, cared for and connected to our community. His resiliency and optimism helped us in difficult times. He was a wonderful storyteller and when he was in your presence, he really listened and remembered what you told him.
Despite the challenges he faced in all of our years knowing him, Art kept going. No matter what obstacle was in his way, he kept telling jokes, kept his daily patrol of the neighborhood and brightened your day with his big heart and sincere smile.
Art never shied away from sharing his deepest truths. He would always take the time to hear what you were going through and offer counsel based on his own experiences. His honesty and humility were great reminders of what it means to be human.
We miss him so much already and are sending those closet to him much love and support in this time of great loss. Somerset Crescent will never be the same without our neighborhood cheerleader. Love you dearly, Art. Rest In Peace, dear friend.
I’m so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. After knowing Mom and Dad for over 30 years, it was always a pleasure to see him, these last few years, as he walked on the path past my house. We occasionally had a little chat and catch up. I hope you find comfort in the memories of both your dad and your mom.
Thinking of you,
Sylvia Percival
I was first introduced to Art when I was a young 15 yr old hockey player living in Calgary. From there we developed an Agent/ Player relationship that soon turned into much more than that. Art treated his players and players' families like they were part of his own family. He always had our backs through the very difficult and unpredictable business of professional hockey. The many phone calls from him throughout the years were always filled with positivity that instantly lifted my spirits. He would regularly reach out to my wife Jennifer when I was away on the road just to check in with her to make sure she was doing ok. Art always made you feel like you were the most important person in the room or on the phone with him. I will always be sincerely grateful to Art for everything he did for us over the years. Jennifer and I would like to express our deepest condolences to Brent and the entire family for the loss of a wonderful man.
I was very sad to hear of Art’s passing. I met Art back in the 80’s at the rink.
My Thoughts And Prayers to Brent And Family.

It is with profound sadness we acknowledge Art’s passing. We extend our heartfelt sympathy fo Brent, Tammy, Avery, Mylah, Sandy and family, and Wayne and family in the loss of your Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and friend. We, Art’s neighbours will miss him very much. Over the years, we have had hundreds of conversations with Art on a multitude of subjects - we came away from those conversations, a little more knowledgeable, a little more enlightened and often amused, by Art’s words. Art probably knew all the neighbours in an 8 block radius of his home - he knew our names, our children’s names and the names of our dogs! Art often referred to the folks in his neighbourhood as his ‘second family’. Due to COVID-19 and the fact that we are seniors, we will not be attending Arts service, but I will say, we will miss him so much, as I am sure many other neighbours will, and we will NEVER, ever forget him. Rest In Peace dear friend and neighbour. It is comforting that you are now with Betty. Barry and Diane Charchun
If ever there was a person who made you feel like the most important person in the world when you first meet them, it was Art. He always made other feel special and important, from his hockey players to the mailman. Art taught me a lot of about the player agency business, but way more about how to treat people and make them feel and understand just how special they are. My memories are vast and wonderful while working with Art and Brent at ProRep. I will always remember the stories he told and the conversations we had. Art cared deeply for family, BUT then he treated everyone like family if you were in his circle of friends.
Our deepest condolences to Art's family from Sandy and Roman. We shared many walks in the neighborhood over the years and always enjoyed good conversation. He will be missed but not forgotten.
Sending our deepest sympathy to the family. We will most definately miss seeing Art on his walks around the drive. He always had a smile on his face and was always willing to chat... Rest in Peace Art..

We send our condolences to the Breeze family. We will miss our good neighbour and our chats with Art during his many walks along the path by our house. He was so proud of his grandchildren! He and Betty are together again.
