Deepest sympathy to the family. I met Bernice in 1956 when we were both new brides and we became good friends and drank gallons of coffee together in our cold water flats (literally) and one year when Sandy and Lou went to Rabat we stayed together for three weeks. Bernice was the friend that everyone deserved but not all are so lucky. I will miss you dear friend, you were the best.
My deepest sympathy to the Sandre family. I have known Bernice since 1966 in Portage, she was such a good friend & a giving person. Over the years we had many good visits or chats on the phone. You will all miss her, but I know you have special memories to hold on to. She was very proud of all of you.
Rest in peace my dear friend.
Hilda
To me she was "Aunt Bernice." Always willing to serve. When I needed a place to stay for a week back in the fall of 1979, Bernice and Sandy were there for me. I'm grateful. Though I didn't see Bernice often, I can vividly remember this nice lady.
