Condolences
To Lynne and Karin and families I am so sorry to hear about Helen's untimely passing. I have known Helen since we were teenagers in Scotland and have always loved her warm heart and easy friendship. I am grateful that we were able to reconnect through FB and that we got to have an in person visit with her last year and to meet Amanda. I am sad to lose such a dear friend. May your memories of her comfort you as you go through this time of grief. Elspeth Mackenzie
I have known Helen for many years even before she married Hughie. Always a laugh and a smile, a kind word for everyone. Our sincere condolences to all the family from ours . Laurinda, Sean and Tanya, and Alan
You will be missed by us. Jaxon treasures his blanket you made him a few years back. I am sorry I didnt get to share another laugh with you, but we had so many! I wont forget just you and I relaxing and laughing on the beach in Mexico. You will forever hold a place in our hearts Helen. We love you!
I am saddened by the loss of such a wonderful person! I had the great pleasure of her company along with her husband Hugh jr. whenever there was a Scottish gathering in the Canmore Legion. When I visited my cousin in Cochrane, Helen would come and join us. We had some wonderful times just sitting and chatting. I will miss her very much.
Those we love don’t go away,
they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near;
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
My condolences to Helen’s family and friends. Such a lovely woman, had tea with her and Elizabeth at Roseanne’s and had a great laugh about back home. What a great visit and one that I will cherish. Sadly we will not be able to that that agin. Gwen Walker
