Condolences
Dear Brenda, Dave, Marilyn and family,
I am greatly saddened by the news of the sudden loss of Rob. I know you must all be great pain dealing with this tragedy. My thoughts are with you all as you say goodbye.
Rob, his brother Dave, his cousin Leslie and myself Scott, spent a lot time together as kids seeing each other at the many family events. He was the oldest of our cousin group of four (5 year difference between Rob and Leslie), and took the role of a leader coming up with fun things to that always had the element of adventure. I loved Rob and looked up to him as I was growing up. I will cherish the many fond memories.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you come to terms with this terrible loss.
Love Cousin Scott
Brenda and Family,
My deepest condolences. Rob was an icon at Shaw and will be missed.
Doug
I’m so sorry for your loss. Rob has been a great friend and a mentor over the years for me working at Shaw. He will be missed.
Our Deepest sympathies to all of the Stone family, Rob will be remembered for his visits to our Rush Lake community in many ways it was always a pleasure to be in his company.

Rob was one of many folks at Shaw I was proud to have as a trusted colleague. He always had a smile and showed confidence in his way with customers and fellow staff that was appreciated. He made a difference and will be missed.

To the Stone Family–We spent such great times together growing up as cousins. I always looked up to Rob–he was the oldest cousin and I thought he knew everything! We had great family “all season” gatherings in Ontario and we missed Rob when he moved to Calgary to start his new life out west. I admired his zest for life, his love of people, his passion for sports and the outdoors, and of course his close relationship with Brenda and the kids, his mother, Marilyn, his brother David and family. You will live on in my memories always, Rob. Love, Cousin Leslie Stone
Our sincere condolences to the Stone family. My husband and myself worked for Roger’s 28 years ago and had the privilege of meeting Rob. He was a good person and devoted family man. Had many laughs along the way. My husband left Rogers, but I carried on with Shaw and still ran into him often. We will miss him but will hold him close in our hearts always. With Love – Shelby & Kenton Hehr

Rob will be missed. He was a dedicated long time employee of Shaw/Rogers, worked hard at his craft and is highly regarded by all that knew him.
May his soul rest in peace.
Our sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to all of Rob’s family. We knew Rob over the years from renting next door to the Stone’s cottage on Rush lake in Ontario. He was such a great guy and enjoyed life and always had a smile. He will be sadly missed.
My deep condolences to you Brenda and your family. I only met Rob on the River Cruise in Sept. but I could tell then that he was a very loving gentleman. May good memories with him help you through this difficult time.
Our sincere condolences Brenda, Jennifer and Geoff. Rob and I were only a short while ago talking about our European trips and how much he was looking forward to retiring so he could do more. Having known Rob for over 20 years I know he will be dearly missed
Deepest and heartfelt sympathy for the Stone family at this difficult time. I had the honor of knowing Rob only through work both with Rogers & Shaw. Rob was a great person to deal with and the knowledge he possessed, I learned a great deal from him early on in my career. May you all be blessed with God’s love at this time.
Chris & Susan Poole
Brenda, our deepest sympathies are with you. In the short time that we spent with you and Rob, we enjoyed your company very much! I will remember Rob as a good natured, kind man. It brings a smile to my face when I remember how he teased me about taking pictures of doors in Europe! I hope as you go forward from the sadness of his absence, that you take comfort in knowing that there a many people around you, including us, that are ready to be there for you.
My deepest sympathies to all of Rob’s family. Rush Lake won’t be the same without you but we will be sure to have a drink for you this summer around the bonfire.
Dear Brenda, Geoff and Jennifer,
Words simply cannot express our sorrow and shock at your loss. Rob was a great friend and co-worker for 27 years. He was one of the first people I met at work when I relocated to Calgary, and of course Christine knew him before then. We became good friends and skiing buddies, and I could always depend on him at work, as well as comparing notes on parenting etc. There is a large piece of us missing now.
Rick & Christine Elliott
Our sincere condolences Brenda, Jennifer, Geoff, and family. You have our heart felt sympathies and prayers during this most difficult of times. We had some very good times fishing with Rob on the Bow river and 33 years working together at Rogers and Shaw. We will miss him in our lives as well as work but will always keep his memory close to our hearts. All our love.
