Condolences
Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Jim is the person who encouraged me to go back to school to upgrade my education. The end result is 20 years of progressive responsibility and rewarding work after obtaining my Engineering degree. I owe a lot to Jim. RIP
Lynn & family. We were saddened to hear of Jim's passing. We looked at the two of you as a very special couple and good friends to us during our time in Whitehorse (1973 - 76). We remember the periodic visits over the years at the Northern Nights Reunions - it was good to catch up. Take care and cherish the memories. Darrell & Ferne McFadyen
A good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven. In this sorrowful time, we would like to extend to you and the family our heartfelt condolences. May you find comfort in your memories and prayers.
As a former RCMP member in Air Services then a number of years as a Commercial pilot in the High Arctic, I had many occasions to re-connect with Jim. Oh those often challenging flights to the Cominco Mine at LCI (Little Cornwallis Island), and Jim never complained as he stepped off the plane, only that wry smile.
We salute you Jim for really being part of that Pioneering efforts of the Force in those days at Alexandra Fiord. One has to have been there to appreciate the magnitude of the country and the isolation.
Rest now and God Bless

Our condolences to you and your family. We spent many enjoyable times together in the Yukon. It was nice to have visited with you and Jim @ Northernnites in High River.
So very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. So many great memories of our time together in Pine Point. Love and Condolences to the family.
Heartfelt sympathy to you, Lynn and your family. I have fond memories of many shared experiences with Jim from the north. It is unfortunate we lost touch in these last years.
God Bless

Jim was my detachment commander in Yellowknife when I went there in 1978 and he retired while I was there. He was one of my best commanders whom I have always had great respect for while in the Force and after he left. I know members who were there at the time had the same respect for him as well as those who spoke of him when he retired.
Our sympathy to the family
