Jane and family, I am so very sad to see Tim's obituary in the Herald today. My sincere condolences. I do hope you, Peter and Ian with their families are doing ok at this time. Tim, Jack Dunphy and John Woodcock were the main reason I, like Tim, decided to stay in Calgary - coming from the army in the UK. A decision never regretted. I have to kick myself as, after meeting Peter Spear in the Glencoe Club, i promised myself to come and see both you & Tim out at Cochrane. I failed to do it. I will be donating to STARS in his wonderful memory.
We had amazing times together chasing ducks, pheasants or partridge on the prairies; and deer in the foothills west of Nanton and Claresholm. This was soon after I immigrated to Calgary in the 70s and 80s. He was very true to all his friends.
My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family Jane.
My very best,
Stephen Cobb
