Obituary of Gershon (Gary) E. BOBROFF

October 23, 1969 - October 6, 2020

Gary E. Bobroff of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the age of 50 years.

An accountant by trade and a comic at heart, Gary had a sense of humour that rivalled any stand-up comic this side of the Canadian borscht belt. An amazing father, husband, brother and friend, his two boys were his life and passion. A. Younger Gary was a bit of a rock and roll drummer, a bit of a dreamer, and always a bit of a character.

Eddie Van Halen went on the same day. Chances are, they are showing Elvis how it is done.

Gary is survived by his wife, Katherine; two sons, Jack and James; sister, Anna Kahane; nieces, Rachel and Sarah; father, Samuel Wayne Bobroff (Pearl); aunts, uncles and cousins both in Sweden and in Canada  and friends and admirers - too many to count.

Gary was predeceased by his mother, Kerstin Bobroff and grandparents on both sides.

Life is short — live, love and laugh often and always.
