Condolences
I was so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. Lyle and I always thought so highly of Frank and were happy to have enjoyed his friendship over the years through the hockey games and various Beaver functions. He was kind, thoughtful and interesting to chat with. Frank did much to improve the world and make it a better place. Many caring thoughts to Barb and his special friends. Vera Cuthbert
My Frankieboss,
I was thinking about you the other day while I was walking down our street at night. I later spoke to my poet friend Chris about how the silence and beauty of the snowfall made me think of you in your grey, down jacket with the hood up. Chris wrote this poem for me because he knew I was sad but I think that it should go to you as well.
Frankieboss, I know it is not your style because you were the embodiment of fun and exciting times, this poem is about the awareness, the ability to stop and look and observe, the understanding that stops a person and makes them realize how beautiful life really is. I think that you would love it because you were always the one looking for whatever you could see, and that made you happy. The small moments in life that get your attention, even if you are not looking. Thank you, for pointing that out to me, you always noticed those small moments and now I will too, and think of you.
Anamnesis of Snow
Stillness, silence
speaking splendour
to the moonlight of reasons;
frozen-indivisible possibilities,
diamond-dust aspirations
caught breathless
in a moment of being.
Our time folded
in the rattled-pattering
of Snowy Owl’s wings,
our feathered evening hushed
by trembling snowflakes’
shuddering in the captured denial
of an October evening’s
euphoric rush.
This sanctuary remains.
Perceptions flicker
in the denial of time,
deafened to the entropy
of dandelion snowflakes
fragile, crystalline-tears
falling to the wet sighs
and warm desires
of an evening sidewalk
reflecting streetlight
memories

We were greatly saddened upon hearing of the passing of Frank. I (JOHN) have known Frank since high school and later as a teammate playing sports with the Loyal Order of Beavers. Frank was our lifelong President and led us in many Beaver calls. He was a great friend with a great sense of humor. It was an honor being his friend. Frank was a kind and thoughtful person and will be greatly missed. We have and always will have many great memories of Frank. At any of our gatherings, Frank always had a friendly conversation with everyone and was always a joy to converse with.
Our condolences and sympathy go out to Barb's and Frank's many close friends. He will be missed but not forgotten.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you
Sincerely John and Bonnie Cumiford, Keri Campbell, Kelly Hozjan.
So sorry to hear of Frank's passing. It was always a pleasure to have a conversation with Frank, whether it was at a Beaver function or having a beer after a hockey game. We could always count on sharing a laugh when we talked. We will miss our dear friend and President. We extend our condolences to his sister, Barb, and special friends.

So sorry to hear that we lost our good friend Frank. He was always happy to visit with us on many occasions. Such a bubbly personality and always sincerely friendly. Our kids and Gracey enjoyed many coffees with him when he worked at Woolco. Sourced some well priced flooring tiles for us when he worked at Olympic. So ready to help people in his many ways. We all liked Frank immensely. We will always remember President Frank.
So sad to lose a good friend and fellow Beaver. Who can ever forget Frank instructing the young grandchildren of the Beavers at a Beaver BBQ on how to properly make the Beaver Call? That happy image remains. Beaver events will never be the same without him. Our sincere condolences. Ron and Wendy Gilmore
