Obituary of Eric John TREWHITT

September 4, 1929 – Winnipeg, Manitoba
October 28, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Eric passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on October 28, 2020.

Eric was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and spent most of his life in Calgary, Alberta. Eric started duck hunting at a young age and lived for the sport. He also loved travelling and had a passion for the outdoors.

Besides his loving soul mate of over 40 years, Eric is survived by his daughters, Claudia Bennett of Nanton, and Ruth Trewhitt of Calgary; grandchildren, Thomas (Maddie), Stephen, Kieran, and Hayley (Parminder); great-grandchildren, Sadie, Odin and Nash. Eric was predeceased by his son, John, his brother, Jim and his parents PC and Medo Trewhitt.

Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. A private reception will follow at the Funeral Home.
