Condolences
Our family was saddened to hear of Hazel’s passing. She was always a bright light and an amazing lady. I knew her well when our children were teenagers and often struggling. Hazel was always a positive influence and my adult children benefited from her many kindnesses. There is another star in the sky tonight. Thank you for all you have done. It was a privilege to have known you.

We give our deepest sympathies Gary. We know this has been an incredibly difficult time for you and your family. We hope that going forward the grief of Hazel's passing will lessen and only the fond wonderful memories of love & laughter will remain to give you and your family strength.

I’m so saddened to hear of Aunt Hazel’s passing. I’m sure that there are no wards that I write or say will help ease and lessen the sorrow you are all feeling. Aunt Hazel was a fun, loving and caring person. She always put others before herself. And there’s no doubt that she loved her family unconditionally. She was taken from this world way too soon, but now is free from all pain and suffering. She’s your angel in heaven now, and she will continue to watch over you all day and night. I’m sure she was reunited with all her loved ones gone before her. I’m sure my mom(Ruby) her sister was waiting for her with open arms. Hold onto and keep all the wonderful memories close to your heart. I’ll be thinking about you all in the upcoming days and months ahead. RIP my beautiful Aunt. ❤️

Hazel we've been a part of each other. We have been through many ups and downs throughout life and have shared many good times together. I was the wild and crazy one while you were always the good concscience on my shoulder. I remember a time when many of us were home in Newfoundland for the summer and went to a family gathering at the hotel and you did not want to dance. I wasn't takIng no for an answer and flipped you on my shoulder and carried you to the dance floor. You were a great sport about it and we had a wonderful time with family and friends. I will miss you like crazy, you will always be with me in my memories. Rest easy my beautiful sister until we meet again. Love you. Your tormenting twin brother Harold.

Aunt Hazel, there are so many memories I hold dear with you; sitting around the fire when I was a child, celebrating Christmases with your family and ours under one roof, living with you in Calgary. You even managed to get me to watch Coronation Street! Seeing you cuddle my babies, birthdays, anniversaries, and just a weekend visit. I will hold every memory in my heart forever. I miss you, I love you ❤
I have many beautiful memories with Hazel, from quick visits, special family occassions, trips to the mountains, and a girls road trip to Montana, and just sitting together to enjoy a cup of tea. All which included some sort of plumbing issue which we use to laugh about so hard it brought tears to our eyes. I will forever hold these memories close to my heart she will be with me always.
I have lots of memories; Hazel and I took a few girl trips together, one is when Hazel and I took a girls trips with our sister in law (Nadine) to Montana. Hazel was not a person who liked water and we convince her to try out the hot tub and then couldn't get her out of it. We spend time visiting sites and historical places, it was such a beautiful weekend. Fly high with the angels my sweet sister, you earn your wings here on earth, I love you and going to miss you like crazy, xoxo
