Condolences
I have so many beautiful memories. Our many awesome road trips. When I lived in BC it was frequently that I would fly to Calgary so that we could go. Drove to Ft. Nelson ( 14 hours) 3 times. Regina (10) hours, Castlegar ( 8 hours). Those trips were probably a week or more. Oh the laughter along the way!! The highlight of it was we stopped at every casino for a ( bite to eat), lol.
She so enjoyed my coming to go as it was to visit my kids (Ronnie & Lee). They loved her lots as well.
I will miss our many long conversations as not only was she my sister in law, but she was my beloved bestie for as long as I have been a part of this family.
RIP my beautiful friend!
Convention was that the man would have a tumultuous relationship with “Mother-in-law”.
Not Phyllis, she welcomed me with open arms flying in Christmas Day ‘99 to spend millennial New Year with Judy at one of your famous Xmas extravaganzas(and Morley’s famous garlic bread).
That relationship only grew through our wedding in Ontario, her support and love growing during our time in Calgary. Complete understanding when we returned to Toronto following my Dad’s passing to support my mom, never a doubt we would return to Calgary with Morley’s illness for you.
So great being so close & pop in for a chat while out for a walk, you dropping in with each garbage run, mother and daughter becoming “Costco buddies”. The “good” side of retirement!
Who’s computer will need fixing now, who’s password will we need to figure out, who will tell me how to plant and prune the flowers come spring?
You left us too soon but we are watching you and your Morley cutting a rug in the sky.
Rest well my dear I love you Mom ❤️
