Condolences
Dear Mary, Anne and Raymond,
Our heartfelt condolences to you and your families on the passing of your lovely mom. I had the pleasure of working alongside Stella at Eatons. She will be remembered as a very classy lady who often spoke with love about her children and their accomplishments. Over time, Stella befriended my mother and my in-laws which allowed us to keep in touch. Stella will always be remembered with great fondness.
Hugs,
Evelyn and Peter Audretsch
I got to know Stella through my mum who were good friends when they were members of Kerby Centre in Calgary. We had lively conversations about everything; family, economy, my golf and travels, politics (local, world and US), COVID, and Trump. She agreed with me that we have an Alberta Trump. I was glad even though she sounded raspy, I had a lengthy call with her just before her passing. Will miss hearing you say to me, please call again as I enjoy your phone calls. It sure is strange not able to pick up the phone to call you after doing it for 11 years. Shed a tear for you Stella. Rest In Peace. Phil and I send our deepest condolences to the King family.

Dear Raymond, Anne and Mary,
On behalf of the Edmundston Dionne family and especially on behalf of our mother Madeleine Dionne, we would like to extend our warmest condolences to the three of you (she was so proud of all of you!) and to all members of your family. Your mother was a very special person, a loving and caring soul. She and my mother became good friends when your family settled in the house in front of us on Ouellet Street in Edmundston. Both of them would often sit down for tea in the afternoon to chat, taking a break from their busy and hectic housewife’s daily lives. Even when you moved to Manitoba, they kept in contact with regular phone calls and letters. On a few occasions, Mrs King (that’s what we call her), even phoned me as she was concerned with our mother’s health or situation. Our mother and your mother chatted for the last time only two weeks ago... She will be dearly missed!
Sincerely,
Claire Dionne (daughter of Madeleine Dionne)
I met Stella seven years ago and always found her to be such a joy to talk to. She quickly became my mom’s best friend and she will miss their daily conversations and visits to the pub on Fridays (before Covid). My deepest condolences to her family as I know you will miss her but I am sure she will be watching over all of you.
