Condolences
Dear Uncle Les and Courtney,
I’m so sorry for your loss.
In one of our family albums growing up, I remember seeing Auntie Lavene’s terrific smile in a photo taken when we were both younger. Our birthdays are close together on the calendar and we were all celebrating together as extended family.
I remember that she had an incredible strength to her.
I remember her hospitality when we would visit your home in Calgary, her kindness, and again, her smile.
Praying for the Lord’s comfort for you both and all those grieving her passing.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4 NIV
The Lord bless you.

Dear Les and Courtney,
My heart aches for you today. Lavene's journey in this world has not been an easy one, yet through all it ups and downs her courage and empathy for others shone through. Heart Beats brought us together and through it a great friendship developed. We worked together to create its vision and legacy. We shared many moments of joy, encouragement and of course deep sadness. I want you to know that she will forever remain in my heart and she and you will not be forgotten. Today's circumstances will not let us share this day with you but know that I will be praying with you , that she will be at peace in the arms of those that went before her.
All my love,
Johanna

Dearest brother Leslie and beautiful niece Courtney:
Night falls,
but day dawns to replace it ...
Grief comes,
but time will ease the pain ...
Life ends,
but death cannot erase it ...
In memory,
love always will remain
There are those whose lives death cannot diminish. Their love radiates forever in the hearts of friends and loved ones and their light shines on in the lives they've touched for so many years. For us, this is our memory of Lavene, our dear sister-in-law.
Leslie and Courtney, in these beautiful memories, may you find peace and in the love that surrounds you, may you find strength.
Sending our heartfelt love and deepest sympathy to you both,
Your big Sis Donna and her beloved husband, Gordon
XOXOXOXO
So sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved wife Les and your mother Courtney. You are a dear brother, and we share your grief. Lavene always had a very hearty wonderful smile and laugh. My first memories of her, as a younger sister to you and soon to be sister - in - law to Lavene, was her lovely beautiful thick hair, and her fun loving ways; plus she was a wonderful and creative cook. From our family, to yours, may you feel the comfort of God's care over you and your daughter Courtney during these difficult days. Love from Kevin, Candace, Heidi and Tiffany Green .
