Condolences
I am very sorry for your loss and want to offer my deepest condolences to your family.
I didn’t know him well but, my mother Kellie would speak very highly of him and would always hold him in the highest regard.
My fondest memory of Ken was when he took the time to come visit my grandmother to support her when she was sick in the hospital and to spend time with all of us. He even went out of his way to buy lunch for all of us and massaged my grandmother’s legs when she was in pain. He was also there with my mother for all of the doctor meetings.
I’m just glad I was able to return the favour by helping him get his wheelchair, when he was transferred to Foothills hospital via ambulance. It’s not much, but I really do feel like I owe him a lifetime of favours, for all the love and compassion he’s shown to our family.
It saddens me that such a loving, caring, talented and well-respected man had to leave us so soon. Rest In Peace.
In loving memory of my forever friend Kenny.
December 12, 2020:
Kenny can be described as a happy, positive, polite, gentle, generous, interesting and helpful person. He talks and jokes a lot and was always willing to share his dancing skills. He was always very patient to all his students. He was always there to give me advice whenever I faced difficulties. We first met when I came to Calgary and we both enjoy dancing and got along very well. Although he faced much difficulties, he always managed to find a way out. He was a very talented person and likes to explore different fields including real estate, english teaching and as an acupuncturist. He also volunteered to teach dancing in the chinese community.
Andrea, Allison and his family members were the most important to him. His two daughters took over his talented genes and that made Kenny very proud!
Kenny, you are always in our heart.
Forever friend,
Kellie
He remembers my birthday and calls me on my birthday every year without miss. He's also the influencer of my interest in martial art and dance too. I'm really glad that he accepted Jesus as his savior, and eventually changed a lot. Thank God.
In loving memory of Kenny Wong. As her sister, I remember him as a kind and thoughtful person. His two daughters were very dear to him and the pride of his life. He was especially grateful to their mum, Joanne for her devotion in upbringing them with noble values and instilling in them self-confidence and maturity. He will be dearly missed by us all. Dearest, Wong Siew Mei.
I don’t know Kenny personally but it’s through our common friend, Kellie Kwong, who cares for Kenny so much to always request us to pray for him in his last earth journey. After hearing his life stories and watching his funeral service, he certainly impressed me he was and has left a good legacy to live on.
Andrea & Allison, with deepest sympathy, my condolences and prayers are with you and your families. May God’s peace replaces your loss with loving memories of your father to cherish on. And may you be comforted by God‘s promise to those who accept Christ as Savior, that “God will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, mourning, crying or pain (Revelation 21:4)”, and that we shall re-unite with our loved ones in heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
May God who is the Comforter consoles you in this difficult time.
Josie Chan
