Robert (Bob) F. M. Titus was born in Strathroy, ON, on June 16, 1940. Our world stopped turning when Bob sadly passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020.

 

For thirty-one years Bob was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces (joined 1957 at seventeen years of age). He served with the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada until 1968 and was an active member of the Queen’s Own Rifles Association of Canada. He served in the PPCLI until 1988 and was an active legion member throughout his military and civilian life. He was an active member of the Peacekeepers Association of Canada, the President of the CAVUNP Calgary chapter and was an advocate for the Korean War Veterans, and for any and all that served in the Peacekeeping role of the Canadian Armed Forces.

 

Bob was predeceased by his father Clarence, mother Muriel, sister Lynda, brother Eddie (Ruthy).

 

He is survived by his wife of sixty years Shirley, his children, Sandy, Bobby, Michael, Brenda (Mike) and Karyn (Randy); his grandchildren, Sarah, Kayla (Eric), Derek, Ashley (Brandon), Jacob, Zack, Jeiden, Teresa, Alicia, Milly and Lilly; and great-grandchildren, Calob, Liam, Sophia and Isaac. Bob is also survived by brother Willy (Germaine), sisters, Darla (Jim), Kathy (Cam) and Karyn, “Brother” Bud (Marge), and numerous nieces and nephews.
