Condolences
Mario, Melanie, Marilyne & families,
I was very sad to hear of Auntie Mona’s passing. She was a kind, loving, beautiful and elegant woman. I have many fond memories of her growing up, always with a sweet smile on her face.
I remember her last visits to Lethbridge and how genuinely happy she was to meet my and my sisters’ children. She told me she would be able to spot Ryan and Alaire anywhere as they looked so much like me. That simple comment made me very happy, and I’ve never forgotten it.
Mom and Auntie Mona had a great friendship over the years and were there for each other. I know mom had lost touch with her over the last few years as her memory is failing her, but mom loved her very much.
Much love & sympathy to you all,
Susan (Graveland), Ron Simmons & family
Dear Marilyn, Melanie and Mario, so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was special to us even though we hadn't seen her for years. She always made us feel special - i still remember her taking me to woolco when i was 12 and buying me an eyelash curler - it was so cool and grown up. i know mom would really miss her if she could understand it but she has lost the ability to process new information. We have been losing her by pieces over many years now so we can empathize. We feel fortunate that we had her in our lives and that mom had such a close friend and relative....
Linda (Graveland) Sprinkle and family
