Dear Joan,Carl, Paul and families
We share your grief at this difficult time with deep sympathy and condolences.
Auntie “B”, as she was known to us, was very much part of our family life here in Calgary. She will always remain in our memory as the most loving and giving “Lady”. We are thankful to have those lovely memories.
Our thoughts are with you and your families at this time.
Pat,Diane,Darryl,Greg and families.
Our most sincere sympathy to the family of such a kind, wonderful lady!
We knew your Mom/ Grandmother & Dad/Grandpa for many years. Working with Ernie at Stearns Roger for years and participating in social functions we were brought together on many occasions.
Bernice and Ernie were the founding couple of our Friday 'no cooking' nights! We met a few times for Chinese dinners in Bonavista and even sometimes just at the Mall! It is an 'excuse' we follow to this day!
We miss both of them but cherish the many happy memories we have of such a special couple.

To Tim’s Family
She was my mother’s best friend and my godmother.
Tim, the name by which I always knew her, was a shining example of how to live in joy and graciousness.
It is an honour for me that she was part of my young life.
I know you will all have very special memories of her and that you will miss her terribly.
My condolences on your loss.
Most sincerely
Jody
Joan, Paul and Carl, My deepest sympathy to you and your families. I got to know your Mum and Dad while doing Seniors Ministry at St. Andrew's United church. 2008 - 14. We shared the common things of growing up on a farm in Manitoba, and both having relatives in Brandon. Mum was such a happy person. We kept in touch when Ernie was failing. I retired from St. Andrew's in 2014.so did not know she was at Southwood Care Centre. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Blessings, WilmaClark
We are so sorry to hear about Bernice's passing. She and Ernie were the most wonderful neighbours for 20 years or so. Ernie taught us a lot about plants and Bernice about family, talking often about her children and grandchildren. Bernice and I often went out to lunch together which I really enjoyed. They were like surrogate parents to us. She will be truly missed. Our condolences to everyone. Susan and Glen Murphy
Joan & Murray, we were saddened to hear of Bernice’s passing. I will always remember how welcoming she was to us, always with a smile on her face. She’s at peace now with your Dad, Joan! She was a wonderful lady and she will be missed! Love Deb, Mike & Matt
We were deeply sadden to learn of Bernice's passing and would like you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Our times together, both at St. Andrew's and in the CKE community, were part of the broader experience and we know that, while timely, she will will be missed.

Dear Friends Joan and Murray. We are so sorry for your loss. We were very fortunate to spend Christmas Day with her a couple of years ago. We will always have that wonderful day to remember a very wonderful lady.
