I've only know Brent for the past 14 years. We've had many a long discussion on just about everything in life. He always had a story and something good to say that would make you smile and feel better even when you didn't think you could. We shared quite a few adventures in the short time we knew each other. We had many ups and downs, when we where down, he was always there to pick us back up again. We shared a few laughs, enjoyed the time we did have. We will miss you my friend.
Our Deepest Condolences to Lesley and all Brent's Family.

Our sincere condolences to Louise, Earl. Lisa, Krissie and Lesley. We were so saddened to learn of Brent's passing late last evening. Brent was like another son to us and Krissie the daughter we never had. The hours that Brent spent at our house and the miles that we travelled when Brent was a youngster as he practiced and performed with the "Crabapple Cloggers" was such a
fun and happy time, with the pinnacle performing for Prince Edward of England. Brent always lived his life with great passion and had such an infectious smile, We have so many cherished memories, We send our love and prayers to each of you.

We met Brent and Lesley when they moved to Calgary in 1998. There are so many memories we have and cherish. Brent was always willing to donate his time, tools and expertise to any project that was on the go. There were always many laughs and beers when working on projects with Brent, and they always seemed to end up bigger and better than initially planned.
Brent's ability to teach, continuously learn, and share his understandings was evident from the day I met him. From rebuilding an engine, to designing carpentry projects to surfing, Brent demonstrated patience and know how. Our children took their first boat rides with Brent, were encouraged to cliff jump with his guidance, became "Mr. Goggles," the invincible golf cart kids and played many, many games of cards with Lesley and Brent.
Our memories go on and on, we've shared these at our dinner table and cheersed Brent many times since his passing. He will always be fondly remembered in our family and he will always bring a smile to my face and then a tear to my eye.
Brent, keep teaching.....keep learning....keep watch over everyone as you've always tried to do.

Brent was a force to be reckoned with . He never gave up whether he was trying to fix something , learn something , do something .... and last but not least, , just to survive . ... That young man fought so bravely over the years , as his health steadily worsened ,.... I never once heard him complain .....When our Emma went through her serious health issues , Brent was on the phone immediately doing what he was wonderful at. ... That was caring , helping when needed and forgetting his own problems . How I wish I could turn back the years , wishing I had called to see how he was doing instead of just e-mailing , to be able to watch how excited he'd get telling a story ,wishing you lived closer so I could bake brown bread for you both,... seeing his devilish grin again and watching that guy dance . I have never , in all my life seen anyone as limber and clogg like he did. I guess I've rambled on enough but I hope in some way , somehow, that I was able, in some small way , to show him over the years, that we loved him dearly . Lesley, Louise , Earl and families ....your heartache is ours to share but I can't imagine the void that Brent's leaving will do to your lives . ...We're here , we care and that young man will never be forgotten. With love Bev and Rusty .xoxo
