Obituary of Coralie Anne WILLIS

December 23, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce that Coralie Anne Willis passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, after many years of poor and declining health. 

Coralie spent almost her whole life in Calgary. She graduated high school in Sudbury then attended U. of C. and obtained a B.A. in Psychology, LRSM, Piano, and worked on her Master’s Degree in Epidemiology. Afterwards, she taught piano for many years and worked for the Calgary Public Library as a Children’s Services Specialist. She also worked as a Researcher at the U. of C. Coralie had a lifelong love of music and spent many hours compiling custom collections which she shared with those close to her.

As a Volunteer, she was former Vice President, Royal Conservatory Student Teacher’s Affiliate Group, also the former Vice President and Director of Fundraising for the M.E./F.M. Society of Alberta. She held the position of Secretary for the Toy Bank, was Editor and Board Member for the Calgary Singles Council and a current Board Member for the Calgary Community Network Association.

She is survived by her partner of 30 years, Larry Sannuto, and her brother David (Lea). 

Due to health restrictions, no service will be held at this time. An interment of her ashes will take place at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
