Condolences
Our hearfelt wishes go out to Marjorie and famil
When John was still living with his parents ic Crossland I wud visit them for a
day or two. John & I wud play pool in the upper level of their small shed behind the house.
Noone got excited if you missed the cue ball, or any other ball. It was all just for the enjoyment of the game, not who cud beat who. His dad Andy wud take his big
John Deere tractor and threshing machine to many farm in the area including ours
to thresh their grain. This was before the days of combines. An imprtant service!!
Dear Marjorie, Tanya, Connor, Rowyn and Isibeal-
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We hope and pray that the good memories from your fifty years together will sustain you at this difficult time. We have fond memories of riding the school bus in to Elmvale District High School with John those many years ago - there was always some fun and John was a frequent contributor to the fun and conversation- he was very clever and always at the top of the class.
We also have good memories of your wedding in the back yard in Toronto -our sympathies and blessings

Dear Marjorie, We were so sorry to hear of John's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you grieve his loss. We noted in the obituary that he was an unfailing supporter of the Canadian Blood Services and thus decided that there could be a no more appropriate organization for a donation from us in his name to honour that commitment and the great work that they do.

Our deepest condolences to the McGinnis family on the loss of John. He was a truly remarkable gentleman. He was kind, generous, incredibly intelligent and very funny. His loss will be felt deeply, but take comfort in your memories and know that your lives were all blessed to have shared it with him.
With much love

John was a remarkable man. So incredibly intelligent that he would astound you with his insight and knowledge on any topic or world event. He also had a great wit and we all enjoyed his puns. John was extremely well educated and valued education for others. He had a great passion for Waterford Crystal, Jaguar cars and hot dogs which he tried to secretly eat when Marjorie was away! He had very high energy and enjoyed golf and downhill skiing. A fond memory I have of John is attending a Gypsy Kings concert with my daughter and I . He danced through the entire thing! A life well lived! Sharon Brooks
