Condolences
Dear Nelda, Darryl, Dorothy and family,
We are so very sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May the memories of the special love you shared bring you comfort each day.
We met Fred and Nelda in 1978 through Frank and Anna Lyczewski who were our neighbors and great friends in Mount Pleasant. Fred was such a kind, loving and generous man. He had such a wonderful sense of humour. We always looked forward to our visits with them. Our friendship grew and we would often visit them at their home on the farm in Beiseker. We were always so welcomed there. Such great times. We will always cherish the beautiful memories of Fred. He will remain in our hearts forever and we will miss him dearly.

We were so sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. He was such a kind man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time.
I am so sorry to hear about Fred's passing Nelda. I was thinking about him and our time together at Rockyview Gas Co-op just a while ago. Fred was a big part of my life at Rockyview for 20 years, which was just a part of the years he dedicated to the Gas Co-op and other public service. I know he will be missed. Condolences to you and your family. I did not know the children and grandchildren personally, but Fred was proud of his family and talked about them often so I feel I knew them.

Dear Nelda and family; we are sorry to hear about Fred. He was such a kind, caring and friendly neighbour. Always there to lend a hand or give a smile and a wave. His invaluable contribution to our community and his precise farming practices will be not forgotten. Thinking of you, Russell, Linda and Colton Berreth.
My sincerest condolences to you and your family on the passing away of your husband Mike.
I first met Mike at an annual Federation of R.E.A.s meeting in Red Deer in the 90s.I always made sure
at every meeting after that to talk to him as I found him to be very enjoyable to talk to.
I was familiar with members of his family in Bow Island, and thats how he came to speak with me,
he saw my Bow Island R.E.A. sticker. He was a true and trusted friend. He will truly be missed by all
who knew him.

We first met Fred and Nelda in Crookston Minnesota There was a small reunion and we enjoyed meeting our new relatives from Canada found out there were a few more family in Canada.
In 1995 they hosted a reunion in Canada and we were able to get there and we enjoyed every minute of the fun with everybody that was there. Fred was a great guy lovable and full fun we still have the beans spoon hanging on our wall every time I look at it I think of the fun time we had. I'm so happy we talked on the phone a few weeks past.
God be with you Nelda I love you and with the rest of the family He is going to a place where he'll be with a lot of the family they'll all have a fun time no more worries or torments just fun for all. My prayers an my heart goes out to all of you love

My husband Tom and I have known Fred since the early 1990’s. I worked with Fred for many years when he was on the Board of EQUS. I valued our relationship. Fred was always looking out for everyone, not himself. I recall during Board meetings how important it was to Fred that we were not wasteful of the members money and so every decision Fred made was based upon the benefit to the members and how we could keep their rates low and their service high.
Nelda, our deepest sympathy to you and your family. May you find strength in knowing the positive impact Fred had on the lives of others. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Tom and Pat Bourne
My sincere condolences to Nelda & family --- Sure will miss our coffee time & talking about what has happened in the area & was always interested in what was happening west of Beiseker. Would also like to thank the Family for letting me participate in the mass - was honored to do that!
Our deepest sympathy to Nelda and family. Often bumped into Fred and Nelda while dining out. He was always welcoming with that wonderful smile and always had great conversation and like to catch me up on How your family was doing Dorthy. Heaven gained another wonderful angel.
