Jack and I go back about 65 years - having played hockey together in Junior, the Univ. of Denver and on the 1964 Canadian Olympic Hockey Team ... Jack was a good all-around athlete, great teammate and friend ... he put up a fight the past several years with an incurable disease ... in a phone call 10 days ago while in hospice, he was very upbeat and said, "it is what it is, I've had a great life and I'm blessed with a great family"
