Condolences
I was shocked and saddened to learn of Randy's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him and crossing paths on a regular basis with CFD. He was one of those guys who could easily brighten a room when he walked in with his sense of humour and demeanour. My deepest condolences to his family.
Aunt Sharon, my heart is broken at the loss of the love of your life. He gave all for you, to you. I’m so sorry there wasn’t more time spent together. It’s funny - I pulled out a gift you gave me for my wedding and ended up telling Noa a half hour story about our family and his search for ancestors. She asked who will do it now? Great question. Maybe this will be the thing he managed to bring us all together for. Sending so much love my heart hurts. Jodi, Noa (Joe)
My heart is broken to lose my wonderful neighbour. His family was one of the first to welcome us to the neighbourhood, 32 years ago. David came over first, then brought his mom and dad. We were luck to know them. their beautiful family, Randy was a wonderful family man who loved his wife and his kids and grand kids. Rest in peace Randy, you will be missed. You were our hero
Dear Sharon,
I can only imagine how painful it must be to be separated from your eternal companion, I am so sorry for your pain. I will always remember Randy fondly as his weird sense of human and enthusiasm for life always brought a smile to my face. Because of Randy and his dedication to scouting my son, Christopher, received his Queen Scout award. I will always be grateful for that. He will be sorely missed in our ward. I continue to pray that the Lord will strengthen and comfort you as you mourn his passing until you can again be reunited.
Sincerely,
-Michelle Anderson.
Aunt Sharon, and to the rest of the Luckhardt gang....know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you all my love from Indiana! I wish that I could be there to give you all a hug! The memories I have of Uncle Randy I will cherish!
All my Love, Jordan Wood
Knowing this amazing family for over 30 years. The family was the BEST neighbors friends that anyone could ask for. I will cherish all the amazing memories growing up and so grateful. After having my son how excited he would be when Randy came home from work always bringing him stickers pencils from the fire hall, always watched what an amazing family. I send my love to you Sharon and family, RANDY will be missed by everyone who was lucky in life to cross his path. God bless.
Love,

Ian visited Randy many times at the Foothills Hospital. Some months later, Ian and Randy were doing home teaching together. Ian had to stop for gas on the way to visit a family. Randy insisted on paying for the gas because of Ian’s many visits to the hospital. That’s the kind of friend Randy was. His humour and stories will be missed. Our deepest condolences to dear Sharon and family.

Sorry for this hard time for your family. Randy always had a story to tell and a way to make us feel welcome at Church. Love and comfort ~ the Achal family.
Randy and I started our working lives together in the Concrete industry. When Randy went to DeVries and I finished School I followed him there and never looked back. Randy's desire for truth and understanding of the world around him led him to a life of faith and service. Eternal friends have ties which are deep and lasting. Randy is my Eternal Friend. Rest for a short while Randy and then start your service on the other side. May God care for your family here until you are reunited again.
Sorry for your loss, I was fortunate enough to have worked many years with Randy and have many good memories.
Regards Robinson Family
Sincere condolences to the Luckardt family. I have fond memories of many late day conversations shared with Randy while working out of the old FPB building adjacent to #16 Fire Station. Randy was a funny (dry funny), quick witted and cheerful participant in each and every conversation....together I think we believed that we could solve all of the worlds complex problems. It was always a good day whenever Randy and Velvet walked into the office....they were quite the team.... proud to serve the community and the CFD. He will be missed....RIP my friend.
Condolences to the Luckhardt family. He will surely be missed.
Our deep love and sympathy to Randy's family. We enjoyed many years of child-raising and adventures with them. Randy was a service-oriented, humorous man with a ready smile, who will be missed. Raleigh Family
My heartfelt condolences to all who lived Randy. We were born in the same date 2 years apart. Who’d have thought that Diane would marry the brother of a girl who had the same birthday as her brother but Diane Ney did. Many celebrations were celebrated together as graduated from many stages of his Seminary’s.
