Dear Marguerite,
Bori and I were very sad to hear the news. I remember fondly when you and Luis came to our place, and when I visited you in Calgary. I liked talking to Luis, he had a rich life, and was a man of many interests.
I really hope you will come to Budapest some day.
Márton

Dear Marguerite and Family,
We are very saddened by the death of Louise. We always enjoyed the vivid discussions at the Christmas Long Lunches.
Please accept our deepest condolences.
Wishing you and your family strength during this sad time.

We are saddened to hear of Louis’ passing. Our condolences to Marguerite, “little Louis”, and his extended family. Anne and I always enjoyed seeing him at the various Math Department functions and enjoyed sitting with him and Marguerite at the various dinners. Louis led a full and interesting life.
I remember on one occasion when we told him that our son was learning to fly a Cessna. He told us he used to fly MiG jets for the Hungarian air force. Louis said don’t worry if its engine fails, he can still glide a Cessna and land safely. The MiG, however, just falls from the sky if its engine stops.
Marguerite, my heartfelt condolences for your loss to you and your family. I did not know Louis well, but I remember seeing him at departmental gatherings such as our Christmas Long Lunches. Wishing you strength. - Renate Scheidler
Dear Marguerite,
On behalf of our entire family, we would like to offer our deepest condolences on your loss.
When we first arrived to Calgary in 2003, Louis welcomed us with kindness, which greatly helped us settle in the new city and also at the Math. Department.
We fondly recall our great conversations. We also admired his vast knowledge, understanding and positive outlook on life.
He will forever remain in our hearts and thoughts as a wonderful, kind man, exemplary and proud Székely who inspired us all.

Mrs. Fenyvesi, please accept our condolences (from Thanh and me). We still remember the time we (Thanh, Pamela and myself) spent time with you and Louis in Budapest, dining in restaurants, visiting museums, going to flea markets, etc.

Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. I remember visiting with Louis at Long Lunches and other department events, and how devoted he and Marguerite were with each other.
Marguerite, my sincere condolences to you. I always enjoyed Louis when he came with you to some event.
But memories are forever, may you find peace Marguerite.
Louis was a very kind and intelligent person. Plus he could make anything out of his hand. We still have the coin that he cut for our daughter when she loved a boy in high school and wanted to please him. The relationship has long gone and a lesson was learnt, but we treasure the coin and admire the superb craftsmanship.
I also remember the time we spend in Budapest, we had a lot in common with Louis as we all brought up in socialist countries. What interesting conversations. Budapest is such a nice city that we sure want to visit again.
Please accept our sincerest condolences. We are thinking of you.
